Why It Helps

The soft-tissue half of lasting relief

Muscles and fascia hold the body in the patterns it has learned, for better or worse. Therapeutic massage releases that soft tissue into a healing position, easing the tension that pulls joints back out of alignment and calming both physical and emotional stress.

Used alongside chiropractic care, massage helps your adjustments settle in and last. On its own, it is simply a deeply restorative hour that leaves you looser, calmer, and more yourself.

Modalities

Deep Tissue

Focused work on the deeper layers of muscle to release chronic tension and knots.

Prenatal & Postnatal

Gentle, appropriately supported massage for the months before and after birth.

Cupping

Suction that lifts and decompresses tissue, encouraging circulation and release.

Meet Chelsea, CMT

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Chelsea has always been an avid lover of movement, dabbling in sports, hiking, theater, and dance. She graduated from the National Holistic Institute's Advanced Neuromuscular program and has since become an enthusiast of the puzzles of the human body.

Her perspective on massage is simple: you are the expert on your body and its sensations, and her job is to help you find the right tools, in and out of the session, to reach your goals. Those goals can range from stress release and relaxation to targeted work for injury or chronic pain. Her priority is making sure each session meets your needs, and she is always happy to adjust as you go.

Chelsea specializes in therapeutic massage using trigger point and neuromuscular therapy and working along the lines of fascia in the body. She is also certified in oncology massage, for those in active treatment and long-term survivorship.
